QuickBooks invoice reminders, upgraded to a workflow

Connect QuickBooks Online, import open and overdue invoices in one click, and follow up from a shared queue — with review before anything sends.

DueTrail only reads your QuickBooks data. It never writes anything back.

How it works

Connect QuickBooks

Authorise QuickBooks Online and your company connects immediately — no file exports, no column mapping.

Review the queue

Open and overdue invoices become collection cases — created paused. Nothing is emailed during import or review.

Follow up when ready

Approve reminders one by one or switch on automation once the queue looks right. Every send is logged on the case timeline.

What gets imported

  • Open and overdue invoices from QuickBooks Online
  • Amounts, currencies, and due dates
  • Customer names and billing emails
  • Invoice numbers, so re-imports never create duplicate cases

The direct connection uses QuickBooks Online. On QuickBooks Desktop? Start with a CSV export — the follow-up workflow is identical from there.

QuickBooks sends reminder emails. DueTrail manages the follow-up.

QuickBooks Online can send automatic invoice reminders. DueTrail adds what finance teams are missing around them: one queue, tracked promises, and approval before anything reaches a customer.

Frequently asked questions

Does DueTrail change anything in QuickBooks?

No. DueTrail imports invoice and customer data and never creates, edits, or sends anything inside QuickBooks.

Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop?

The direct connection is QuickBooks Online only. QuickBooks Desktop users can export a CSV and import it in minutes — the follow-up workflow is identical from there.

Do I have to turn off QuickBooks' automatic invoice reminders?

No. Keep them for fresh invoices if you like, and let DueTrail handle structured follow-up on overdue ones — or run everything from DueTrail.

Can I try it without emailing customers?

Yes. Imported cases start paused in Review Mode. You can inspect every case, preview every reminder, and send test emails to yourself before anything goes live.

Not on QuickBooks Online, or want to start even simpler? DueTrail imports a CSV from any accounting tool. See all integrations
